Sun Yaowei

Mr. Sun formerly served as Deputy Director of the Planning and Development Department of China HuaNeng Group Corporation, Deputy Director of the Policy and Regulations Department of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Deputy Director and Director of the Information Center, and Inspector of the Legal and Institutional Reform Department of the National Energy Administration. The current Chairman of the Energy Committee of the China Investment Association and a special researcher at the Institute of Resources and Environment of the Development Center of the State Council.
For many years, he engaged in the reform of the power system, participated in the drafting of important documents, specialized research, and organized implementation. He has organized and participated in many large-scale forums and research projects in areas such as energy system reform, energy strategic planning, energy transformation and upgrading, addressing climate change, comprehensive smart energy, information technology, and market construction. Mr. Sun holds a doctoral degree in economics and is a part-time professor at Beijing University of Science and Technology and North China Electric Power University.
Shi Dinghuan
Chairman, Expert Group, Energy Investment Professional Committee
Mr. Shi previously served as a counselor of the former State Council, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and a member of the Party group. He was the 7th and 8th Chairman of the China Renewable Energy Society. During his more than 40 years of service to the Ministry of Science and Technology, he has guided many important development policies that contribute to China’s scientific and technological progress. In his over 40 year career, he has played an important role in implementing the industrial policies of the Ministry of Science and Technology and applying them to industry development. Since 2000, he has also taken the lead in supporting renewable energy and addressing climate change.
Mr. Shi has long been engaged in the formulation and implementation of national science and technology development strategies and major plans, as well as scientific and technological management in industries and high-tech fields such as energy and transportation. He has participated in organizing intergovernmental international cooperation and civil cooperation in industries such as energy and transportation.
Zhang Jie
Mr. Zhang is the Chairman of the TIAA Smart Parking and Charging Sub Alliance, Vice Chairman of the National Building Materials Circulation Industry Development Fund Management Committee of the China Building Materials Circulation Association, one of the initiators of the “Zero Carbon China Initiative”, and the founder of Weineng. He has long been engaged in energy industry investment, energy transformation strategy research, and other work. He has rich experience in energy industry investment, especially in clean energy industry financing, energy industry research, regional smart energy planning top-level design, and related resource integration capabilities. He also serves as a specially appointed consultant to provide strategic consulting for multiple large energy enterprises. Initiate internationally influential brand conferences such as the International Carbon Neutrality and Green Investment Conference, New Infrastructure and Green Investment Conference, International Clean Energy Investment and Financing Conference, and China Energy Investment and Development Forum.
Mr. Zhang’s professional expertise includes assisting key government energy departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission in formulating energy transition policies, energy infrastructure investment, energy policies, climate change adaptation and mitigation, renewable energy substitution, hydrogen economy, carbon reduction, environmental sustainability and renewable energy poverty alleviation, electrification of energy terminal consumption, and early evaluation of energy projects. Mr. Bush serves as the Chairman of Atlas Renewable LLC. Through his company Neil Bush Global Advisers, is engaged in international business development with a focus on cross border activity between Asia and the United States. Mr. Bush has traveled to China 140+ times visiting 35+ cities since his first visit in 1975. Over the past thirty years he has engaged in a variety of cross border business transactions. He has assisted US companies enter the Chinese market including companies involved with wall board, auto parts, mall marketing, drug development, and health care. As an example, Mr. Bush was Vice Chairman of the company that prepared the early development plan for a multiphase, multiuse real estate development in Chongqing, China. He brought in Boulevard Properties as a master development partner and Triple Five as the planning partner for a regional retail, entertainment, and commercial facility. The overall project is in the 4th stage of development and will involve $8 billion in investment when completed.
Mitchell F. Stanley
Chairman, National Center for Sustainable Development

Mr. Stanley is the founder and Chairman of the National Center for Sustainable Development (NCSD), a national 501(C)(3) not-for-profit corporation. He also serves as a Board Member at the Energy and Environmental Management Institute of George Washington University in Washington DC., and Chief Expert at the Energy Investment Professional Committee of China Investment Association.
Mr. Stanley has served as an economic and energy analyst in the US Department of State, a staff officer in the West Wing of the White House under President Reagan and as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Commerce Malcolm Baldrige. He organized the first Presidential Trade Mission to China in 1984 after President Reagan’s State Visit to China in May of 1984. Mr. Stanley spent almost two decades in the US financial services industry as a financial services innovator, regulator and program developer before he returned to Washington, DC and founded the NCSD in 2001.

Mr. Fang has more than 30 years experiences in technology investment, corporate management, strategic corporate advisory services, strategic business development services, joint venture and localization strategies, product marketing and sales in both the United States and Chinese markets.
Eric Fang also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and President & CEO of the National Center for Sustainable Development (NCSD), a national 501(C)(3) not-for-profit corporation focused on sustainability, renewable energy and environment. He is a Board Member of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Foundation. In his advisory capacity, Mr. Fang serves as Executive Standing Board Member of the Energy Professional Investment Committee of China Investment Association, as member of Board of Advisors at the George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations and as Strategic Advisory Board member of Energy Vault (NYSE:NRGV) along with leaders from CEMEX Ventures (NYSE: CX), BHP Ventures (NYSE:BHP), Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (TADAWUL: SAUDI ARAMCO), Enel Green Power (ENEL.MI), PlusVolta, Pickering Energy Partners, Ark Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Korea Zinc (KRX 010130).
Johan Laurell
President of the Nordic Sustainable Development Association
Mr. Johan Laurell has a M.Sc. in Aquatic and Environmental Engineering and have more than 20 years of expertise in the areas of Bioenergy, Waste Management, Waste Water Treatment. Mr Laurell possess high competence in areas regarding Agricultural Development and the Food Supply Chain. In RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden – 2009-2018 Mr Laurell was responsible for the Biogas Research Department and RISE Biofuel Platform including more than 120 Scientists. As Marketing Director for Life Science Division with more than 400 employees he established cooperation in several countries including Spain, Germany, Canada, Brazil, and China.
Mr Laurell is a well-established Senior Bio Energy Expert on a Scandinavian and European level, consulted by companies as well as The Swedish Energy Agency. 2019-2022 Mr Laurell was the National Coordinator for the Swedish Innovation Cluster for Liquefied Biogas – Drive LBG – for the Swedish Energy Agency. From 2023 Mr Laurell is the Coordinator for the Swedish Innovation Cluster for Sustinable Biogenic Energy Gases – BioGenGas.
